Master class of the leading Kazakhstan rheumatologist Asylbekova Maykesh Kuantaevna
On March 2, 2019, a master class of the leading Kazakhstan rheumatologist Asylbekova Maykesh Kuantayevna was held at the Cardiovascular Department of the RSSPMC of Pediatrics.
Maykesh Kuantaevna since 2011 is the Head of the Department of Rheumatology of the branch of the corporate fund “University medical center” of the National Scientific Medical Center of Maternity and Childhood of Astana (Kazakhstan), a member of the Union of Pediatricians of the Russian Federation. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the “Protocol for diagnosis and treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis”, as well as the “Protocol for the diagnosis and treatment of acute rheumatic fever” in Kazakhstan.
The master class was devoted to the topic of Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in children: diagnosis and treatment, and other issues of pediatric rheumatology.
Maykesh Kuantayevna also examined patients, which receive treatment in the Cardiorheumatology Department of the RSSPMC of Pediatrics.
