From January 18 to 22, at the RSSPMC of Pediatrics, the demonstration operations of Professor Caglar Batman (Istanbul, Marmara University) were held with the participation of the Center staff. Such unique high-tech surgeries have been performed as: Cochlear Implantation in a child with deafness, which developed after purulent meningitis with partial and complete ossification of the cochlea. The success of the operation largely depended on the filigree skill and talent of the team led by Professor Caglar Batman.
The next difficult task was balonoplasty in two children, who had previously repeatedly undergone tympanic bypass operations, as well as endoural hearing-improving operations for patients with chronic otitis media.

Also on January 19, a joint meeting of Professor Caglar Batman with Professor Vladislav Kuzovkov (Russia) was held, demonstration operations on Cochlear Implantation were performed with the staff of the center.
Professor Caglar Batman, in an interview with the administration, emphasized that he is always glad to come to the Center of Pediatrics, as he is attracted by a talented team, it is very pleasant to transfer his knowledge to young surgeons. In addition, in the era of a pandemic, every opportunity to meet with foreign colleagues is extremely important.
