On April 27, 2021, a scientific and practical seminar “INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO IMPROVE CHILD HEALTH AND REDUCE CHILD MORTALITY IN CHILDREN WITH CYSTIC FIBROSIS” was held at the RSSPMC of Pediatrics. The purpose of the seminar was to discuss and train specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of children with CYSTIC FIBROSIS. Particular attention was paid to the correct use of special food and the drug Pulmozyme (Dornaza alfa), allocated within the framework of the State Program “FOR FURTHER IMPROVEMENT OF MEDICAL AND SOCIAL CARE TO CHILDREN WITH RARE (ORPHANE) AND OTHER HEREDITARY GENETIC DISEASES”. In addition, the training of physiotherapists in kinesitherapy and special drainage massage was carried out.
Within the framework of the seminar, the Director of the RSSPMC of Pediatrics, Chief Pediatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, prof. Akhmedova D.I., chief pediatric pulmonologist, head of the department of pulmonology, MD, prof. Shamsiev F.M., Head of the Department of Gastroenterology, MD, Prof. Kamilova A.T. and etc.
