Trainings on education of health employers in the implementation of WHO / UNICEF technologies
One of the important directions of the Centre on improvement of the quality of medical care for children and the reduction of child mortality in the country is the implementation of WHO / UNICEF technologies in areas of neonatal intensive care, breastfeeding and good nutrition, child growth monitoring and development, supplementation of essential micronutrients for children and integrated management childhood illnesses. There are trained special coordinators and national trainers in the center.
Since 2008 to present, the Centre is involved in the implementation of the project of Health Ministry, UNICEF and European Union “Improvement of maternal health services and child care.”
Accordence to this project the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the combined I package of «Survival Child “.
It includes the following sections:
“Integrated Management of Childhood Illness”
“Promotion of breastfeeding”
“Newborn care at the community level”
“Feeding a baby / young child”
“Monitoring the growth and development of children”
There are provided trainings by Center`s stuff.
In 2008-2011 there was passed First Phase of the project which covered eight regions of the country: Andijan, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Namangan, Samarkand, Surkhandarya and Syrdarya regions.

Since 2012will been realizes second Phase of the project which covered six regions of the republic: Tashkent city, Karakalpakistan, Bukhara region, Tashkent, Fergana valley and Khorezm region. And in 2015 the project will be finished
There were trained 624 trainers and educated medical employees by the coordinators and national moderators of the Center
