Master classes on topical issues of pediatric gastroenterology March 12-13, 2019.
On March 12-13, 2019, 2 master classes by leading domestic specialists in the field of pediatric gastroenterology were held at the RSSPMC of Pediatrics.
On the first day (March 12), the Chief Children’s Gastroenterologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chief Researcher of the Department of Gastroenterology of the RSSPMC of Pediatrics, D.Sc. Umarnazarova Zulhumor Ernazarovna introduced the participants with the “Functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract in children”, pointed out the main differences between these conditions and the pathological disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, and also shared the main therapeutic approaches.
On the second day (March 13), the Head of the Department of gastroenterology of the RSSPMC of Pediatrics, MD, professor. Kamilova Altinoy Tursunovna devoted her report on intestinal microbiota disorders. As it’s known, the problem of dysbiosis is very important, often doctors mistakenly put this diagnosis as the main one, not knowing about the root causes of the development of this pathological condition. Professor Kamilova discovered in the course of her master class the main etiological and pathogenetic mechanisms of dysbiosis (food allergy, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, celiac disease, etc.), diagnostic methods and targeted therapy. During the master class were reviewed clinical cases on this topic.
