Master class on primary immunodeficiency in children

On March 13, 2019, a master class of leading Russian scientists devoted to the problems of primary immunodeficiency in children was held at the RSSPMC of Pediatrics.
So, Tuzankina Irina Aleksandrovna, MD, Professor, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Immunology and Physiology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Pediatric Immunologist of the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region made a presentation “Primary Immunodeficiency: Concept, Diagnosis, Treatment and Neonatal Screening” .
The next topic was “Applied genetics in the diagnosis of congenital immunity errors of a group of primary immunodeficiencies with defects of immunoregulation and autoinflammatory syndrome”, speaker Volkov Mikhail Artemovich, Ph.D., senior researcher at the Institute of Immunology and Physiology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chief immunologist of the Ministry of Health Sverdlovsk region.
During the master class, thematic patients were examined, the main diagnostic measures were outlined and the therapy was corrected.
